Program Description

The degree program in Golf Management is developed to provide a fundamental understanding of the sport, with emphasis on the business aspects of professional management. With a combination of Core courses related to business management and practices, general education to support the foundational and discipline courses, and courses specific to the sport and industry of golf operation, students completing the program are well prepared to work independently on courses and in the related business of pro shops and sports supply; they are also sufficiently grounded for entry-level positions in management of golf course operations.
